Take that off of smiting and put it to tactics, you have no healing(unless your suffering from conditions....for 9 seconds...) You could put some into tactics and get Healing Sig. Or you could Put like 8 to Healing and have mending.

Both of you are Quiet Travelers. Don't be shy, post more! You're always welcome here.
I would love to tell you an amazing build but I haven't seen it on the forums yet and I'd rather keep it a secret
I will say this for a tip. Try to manage energy more for those energy costing attacks, which IMO suck but who knows.

All depends on what you are trying to do, are you solo farming, then what
are you farming, are you part of a group, then the monk should handle most
of the healing, as one person said, healing sig, watch yourself, and dolyak
sig. will become almost permanent on your skill bar.
When solo farming staying alive is the tough part, always watch your
health and use heal sig alot, once you find a good combo of skills you are
comfortable with, you can start playing around with others....
I do not use flurry much, I do not like the ultra-spamming that is needed for
this skill, but alot of ppl here do like it, if you can change your secondary over to Mesmer, try the physical and elemental resistance stances, last
a long time and work very nice, put up ele. res. with doylak and watch
yourself and you are ready to fight.....

You should definitely reconsider using tactics. Skills like Gladiator defense not only provide defense by avoiding damage, it also deals out damage. Shield stance, shields up, all of these tactic skills either increase your evade, increase armor(universal armor at that), or even both.
Keep in mind that avoiding damage is better than reducing damage. Using a combination of both is even better.
For healing, mending offers good regen during a fight. With just 8 into healing prayers, you get 3 pips of regeneration. Include healing breeze, and you can have maximun regeneration.

I like the Dolyak, Bonetti's Defense, Watch Yourself combo. Healing sig or some 2ndary healing like unholy feast suits me...
but healing sig is hot with massive armor boost.

Hardly, reducing damage is far more important. A warrior's defense is 111-116 with a shield against warrior and ranger enemies. Their defense against spells and otherwise is only 96-101. You can't dodge spells with stances, so why are you avoiding the damage sources that will deal less?
Yes the warrior/ranger skills have +damage which can't be reduced by a high defense, but there are hardly enough enemies that carry multiple skills as such that would be worth bringing evasion stances against. The only other situation are level 28+ enemies, and there is no reason to pack your skill bar with stances to combat against a situation that pops up every now and then. As such, the high AL not only prevents the damage that you would be avoiding, but also the damage from sources your stances can't do jack about.
Hammer warriors lose the advantage of a shield, a 16 AL and possible 7 damage reduction (-2 from enchanted/stance, -5 {20%}). In which case, the higher AL is even more important as with the 100 AL vs. physical and 85 vs. magical, you haven't quite reached the point where excessive armour has greater diminishing results.
